If you found our site in The Washington Post article on Pickup Games in the DC area, thanks for visiting!  This site has been free to the public since our launch in 1998, and is most effective when hockey players in the community post their pickup games to our calendar for others to find. You'll notice our database has many places where people, at some point, have played or still do play pickup hockey.  If you know of a venue that is not in our database, or if the time you play at an existing venue has not been posted onto our calendar, please support local hockey and post it now!  We have listings for ice, roller and deck venues.


We here at PHN want to help keep the games going when there are no tournaments or leagues to play in.  Maybe to practice before a game, or to scrimmage with other teams around your town, or just to have a good time, we want to help you find a pickup game with people your own age and skill level.  Please register now, and let us know where you usually play.  We'll post the location with times, directions, and a description of the venue.  Feel free to email us too.
