Use of our site constitutes acceptance of our privacy agreement.

Information is available to registered and non-registered users in tiered levels of access. Since our inception in 1998, hockey players and rink operators have been submitting venues and other information to PickupHockey.net with the intention of meeting or attracting other players and like-minded individuals.

This website is a value-added service that we provide to both members and non-members under these same terms. We have invested time and money into designing and developing this site and to making it publicly available to individuals with the intention of finding pickup hockey games.


Acceptable use of our site is as follows for all users, registered and unregistered:

PickupHockey.Net (aka The Pickup Hockey Network) makes information available to individuals for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Content from our site (including but not limited to html, databases, SQL code, e-mail addresses, usernames, members' personal information, logos, content, verbiage, concepts and business model, and other material) is our intellectual property, offered as a value-added service, and should not be construed as public domain.


Harvesting of our users' personal information, our venue database, html, or any other aforementioned content (sic) is a violation of our acceptable use policy, and will be considered theft of property, subject to damages or compensation. Use of site suckers, information mining, mirroring, or any other attempt to reproduce or capture our data, is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to deny access to any person or address we deem necessary to protect our resources.


PickupHockey.net's members (individuals, teams, organizations) have the right to choose whether or not their e-mail or other identifying information shall be made public. They do so with the understanding that these e-mail addresses may only be used to be contacted regarding hockey games within their designated playing area, or by PickupHockey.net for the purpose of updates, special offers, and daily/weekly game reports (see your personal profile to opt-in or out of any messages). Messages to our users must be directed solely to that person or their organization, and may not be part of any type of mass mailing, MLM, or UCE (unsolicited commercial e-mail). Any individual or organization directing messages of a commercial nature, or as defined above, to PickupHockey.net's users are in violation of our policy may be blocked from our website, our servers and resources as we deem appropriate.


Also, it is the policy of our hosting provider to prosecute violators for unauthorized utilization of bandwidth and other network resources. In accordance with that policy, PickupHockey.Net will provide corroborating log data from our e-mail and web servers to assist in their task.
